with the demands on life, it can get more difficult to find time to select fresh, quality whole foods, and cook nutritious yummy meals.  who has that kind of time?

well, we do.

we take the time to develop fresh, healthy food that you will find delicious.

you might say we even have a bit of a philosophy when it comes to how we approach our food.  we make healthy food, but we don’t believe that healthy foods have to be boring.

the foods on our menu contain twists on old favourites, taking some of the comfort from old dishes and incorporating some yummy and even unexpected nutritious gems. 

when it comes to organics, we make educated choices in order to keep our prices down.  for example, we use the “dirty dozen” as a rule of thumb to choose our ingredients.  simply speaking, the dirty dozen recognises that there are some foods are prone to carrying high levels of pesticides compared to others, even after washing.

we make smart decisions when it comes to the food we cook with, and this is how we do it:

 

  • we use free range unmedicated specialty chicken and eggs
  • specialty premium beef, no growth hormones, steroids or antibiotics
  • we do not use GMO tofu or corn
  • we do not use transfats, and we use coconut oil and butter in our baking.
  • we do not use artificial colours or flavours – there’s no need!
